About the team
Financial Controlling and Analysis (FC&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency. Tower responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and transparency on financials for Business Performance Management.
About the role
- Perform month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation, supports the reconciliation process (e.g., accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)
- Prepare financial reports and reconciliation to oversee the current position compared to forecast
- Support the decision-making process with different financial controlling analysis,
- Partner with the RTR and OTC team to ensure the information in the legal entity financial statements accurately and completely reflects our business operations
- Ensure that financial & statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements
- Understand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements; communicate requirements to the rest of the Financial Control team and to relevant teams in GBO
- Support system-based data transfer from internal data sources and their SAP transmission
- Support implementation of new business line from UAT phase to warranty period
About you
- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
- Qualified accountant
- 4-5 years’ experience in finance / accounting/ controlling
- Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
- Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
- Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering solutions for issues
- Fluent English knowledge
