Join the People & Culture team and help us create an internal digital platform for employment benefits, terms, and conditions in Denmark, leading to improved user satisfaction, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

As a Student Assistant, you will be part of an informal, collaborative, and international People & Culture team, with ample opportunities for interactions across our global P&C organisation as well as other departments in Denmark. This is a 6-month fixed-term position at Hempel headquarters in Lyngby, Denmark, with working hours ranging from 15 to 20 hours per week, providing flexibility around exams.

Responsibilities
  • Support the creation of an internal user-friendly SharePoint site with clear structure and design principles, which can be used as a global standard.
  • Rewrite the content of our employee handbook and other employee benefits to suit a digital platform, enhancing self-service capabilities, boosting visibility of benefits, and improving employee and manager satisfaction.
  • Assist in assigning specific ownership within People & Culture for each page and propose a process for annual content evaluation and continuous improvement of the site.
  • Promote the site through various communication channels and assist in training new content owners on site structure and design principles.
  • Document the process to enable other countries in Hempel to potentially reuse the structure, design principles, and templates, fostering a more standardized and seamless employee and manager experience when navigating P&C terms, conditions, and other benefits.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support for the team.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, communication, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficient English skills, verbally and written and experience working with MS Office package.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms; experience with SharePoint is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, collaborative approach, and excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong customer service orientation.
