Salary: $67,932 - $75,480
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is a specialist role at times working in a complex and challenging environment responding to requests for patient information from a wide range of customers including patients, families, government and non-government agencies. This is a very process driven role with specific deliverables and outcomes which requires a high level of attention to detail, empathy and time management. Knowledge of the Privacy Act 2020 and Official Information Act 1982 would be of significant advantage.

Our Patient Information Officers are a small team of highly skilled, competent and organised professionals who place high value on collaboration and team work. They are supported by, and work closely with, the wider clinical records team and as such provide support as required. Our goals are only achieved by working together.
Moū - About you

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
  • High level of English comprehension with excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment * Knowledge of applicable legislation e.g. Official Information Act 1982 and Privacy Act 2020 with previous practical experience an advantage * Excellent time management skills * Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel, highly desirable * Attention to detail * Flexible - able to work as part of a team or alone if requiredE pā ana ki a tatou - About us
