Job Purpose and Impact
The Communication Specialist, Sustainability for FIBI Enterprise will write and build effective communications to support the execution of Cargill’s sustainability communications strategy to reach key audiences and deliver against defined communications objectives in line with enterprise’s strategic goals. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Manager Communication, Sustainability for the FIBI Enterprise, the Global Sustainability communications team and Cargill’s broader Global Impact team to execute against key communications priorities. You will report to the FIBI Global Sustainability and EMEA Group Communication Director and serve as a trusted partner to your team and colleagues across the enterprise. Key Accountabilities
Receive instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles to support execution of enterprise sustainability communications strategy, aligned with Cargill´s overall sustainability approach and partnering with various communications teams across the company.
Create content for multiple communications and manage campaigns or projects, advising business partners and lead the development of external and internal content that advances in sustainability business goals relating to planet, people and product like sustainable sourcing programs, sustainable production, food security, human rights, farmer livelihoods and community impact.
Implement tactics within a communications plan based on company strategies, including copywriting and research for internal and external communications activities.
Develop business acumen to understand the company and its customers including calendar of activities for enterprise sustainability communications priorities and measure the impact of related activities.
Interact with peers share best practices and support the development and maintenance of key message documents, briefings, Q&A’s and toolkits to be used in FIBI and broadly across Cargill.
Deliver quality assignments on time and manage, brief and coordinate suppliers (copywriting, graphic agencies, photography, …)
You will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills
Conceptual knowledge of fundamental communications theories, principles, and practices
Understanding of and experience in using AP Style
Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a global company preferred
Experience with stakeholder communications /public affairs towards governments and NGO audiences is a plus
Ability to perform and support team under tight deadlines
Excellent copywriting skills
Excellent language skills in English and French
Ability to translate complicated messaging into easily understood language
Familiarity with food and nutrition topics and issues
