The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly and professional service as the first point of contact for visitors, phone calls and enquiries.
  • General maintenance of the office environment in accordance with legislative and OH&S requirements whilst maintaining the College standards.
  • Assist internal and external College functions as required, including booking catering for events.
  • Manage the purchasing of office and kitchen supplies, ensuring constant and uninterrupted supply.
  • Work closely with the People and Wellbeing Advisors onboarding and set up of new staff.
  • Process the incoming and outgoing mail and arrange courier pick-ups and deliveries for staff.
  • Maintain the Fire Warden, First Aid Officer, Reception and Kitchen rosters.
  • Ensure appropriate training to relieve reception during breaks.
  • Maintain staff security access passes.
  • Arrange appropriate fundraising activities to support the College’s nominated charity.
  • Assisting the People, Wellbeing and Facilities team with general day to day administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Lead.
Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in reception or customer service environment
  • Excellent administrative skills, particularly with respect to accuracy and detail
  • IT know-how and proficiency with MS office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Polite and helpful demeanour
  • Can-do approach to their work
  • The ability to always maintain strict confidentiality
  • A positive and flexible attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Resourcefulness and resilience with an approachable and professional manner
This role may require some out of hours work and some travel within Australia and New Zealand. (The College offers time off in lieu, overtime and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required).
