Market Business Intelligence Analyst [Norway]

To help Kongsberg Discovery make data driven business decisions more effective and insightful, we are looking for a Market Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our team. You will identify yourself with being a focused individual with strong expertise in handling large amounts of data and statistics, interest for technology and key drivers for sustainability and security within the ocean space, the skills to extract this into insightful and valuable recommendations and to present to senior level management.

Key accountabilities

  • Gather data, conduct research, and discover specific market conditions and trends with focus on our core markets
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids
  • Evaluate and improve methods for data collection and handling
  • Prepare and present reports to key stakeholders
  • Generate key insights to ensure successful planning, execution, and optimization of new and existing solutions/products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze research data
  • Help maintain the accuracy and completeness of research databases and spreadsheets


Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics or a related field
  • Work experience in market research and analysis
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, databases and statistical packages
  • Good communication skills in English – both written and verbal


Security clearance may be requested and required by the Norwegian National Security Authority, or a background check.
